*The New-York Historical Society is thrilled that Professor Michael Kammen has contributed to the catalog accompanying our fall exhibition "Lincoln and New York." This exhibition of original artifacts, iconic images, and hand-written period documents, many in Lincoln's own hand, will for the first time fully trace the evolution of Lincoln's relationship with the nation's largest and wealthiest state. Attached is a press release with details about the exhibition, which we hope you will pass along to any interested colleagues.*
