Noa conducted two and a half years of fieldwork in Buenos Aires and my research focuses on processes of social reconstruction in the shadow of the last military dictatorship in the country. My work examines the way middle class Argentines, and specifically the generation of the children of the disappeared, are learning to come to terms with the country's difficult past.
